Joel Olympio is an industrial designer and entrepreneur. He is the co-founder of The Focus Co., a startup with the mission of helping everyone to find their focus. His work has been recognised and awarded globally by Dyson, Prototypes for Humanity and the Institute of Designers Ireland.

Joel graduated from the University of Limerick where he studied Product Design. He then worked at Dolmen Design & Innovation, an award-winning design consultancy based in Dublin.

Joel's interests lie at the intersection of design, technology and inclusion and this inspires his work at The Focus Co. and his PhD research at SMARTLab UCD.
